This is quite unfortunate for me as well, Minnesota has only a few Prometrics.... I have been keeping my ears to the ground and from the sounds of it, this is really REALLY going to be an inconvenience for many people. I am just hoping they all of a sudden post april fools, or something like that.. Sad day indeed.
Prometric will be working to assist the many, many, many VUE centers who will be converting to Prometric.
Some centers that were one or the other will probably become both (Prometric and VUE) since Cisco has announced it is dropping Prometric and will use only VUE.

I agree it seems like there was a lot more Vue test sites that there is Prometric. Even though I have never used Prometric before I have heard that the equipment used by them is.....ummm.....less than perfect. I hear they experience all kinds of lockups and crashes. I had one incident with Vue but that was because someone working on a street chopped several cables while they were doing some digging....as soon as power was restored I was right back in the same questions that I was on before the power out and continued the test with no other issues.
The Vue center was 3 miles from my house, now I will have to drive 30 miles and deal with traffic.

I hope that happens, but is there any sign testing centers changing or broadening their affiliation?
I understand this whole decision has to do with testing security.
