Hy All,
I'm new to microsoft cluster... I need to trace automatically the switch of a microsoft cluster ( windows 2000 server .. two nodes active/passive)
I've already tried to use WMI script, but the cluster cim classes are used only by Windows 2003 server...
Does someone know if event id exists to trace the cluster switch???
Can I write a script to trace the switch...maybe by using commands from dos shell....
Help me???
THANKS IN ADVANCE......

Ralph

What do you need to trace? When it switches? How it switches? A bit more info please.

.. I need to automatically understand when it switches.
I'm able to use CIM cluster classes in Windows 2003 server,
but CIM cluster classes are not used in Windows 2000 ...
Have you any idea???
Thanks..

If you don't need the information in real time and are simply trying to understand the porocess, why don't youy turn up the logging level and view your cluster log?
