I have a MS Access 2000 form with a crviewer xi.
The form allows users to select from a list of reports.
When they select a report it appears in the crviewer.
This works great - BUT only on my machine which has Crystal 11 Developer.
The users don't have crystal at all. I have seen the list of dlls for crystal 9 or 10 but all I see for crystal 11 is MERGE MODULES.

How, do I get around this when all I have at my disposal is a package and deployment wizard in MS Access 2000.

Any help, no matter how much it hurts, will be appreciated.

You can try downloading Visual Studio Installer, and using that to create an installer w/the merge modules.

Here's a link to the deployment whitepaper - it should help you get something together: Creating an RDC XI Distribution Package. It also has a link to MS to get the Visual Studio Installer.

Ok, I gave up on the microsoft access.
If there is a way, and someone comes here in the future, it would be interesting to know how it can be done.

In the meantime we have now moved into using Visual Studio 2005 and crystal 11.

Thanks again vidru.
