Hi everyone. I have two issues.

1) The first one is this error I get whenever I exit out
of a particular access application. Does anyone know how
or why it's happening? Here is a link to a screenshot of the error:

2) My second one is this: There is this application that
was designed in access 97. But currently we will be
upgrading the OS for the company to office XP. Are there
any known errors or problems involved in running the
application under office XP?

Thanks everyone ahead of time for helping me out!

Hi,

1)Your link can't work - .doc extension.

2)If you have VBA in your 97 version, you may have some code changes there.

the link will work if you have word installed

Ctsang Darrylle was right in that some code that worked in 97 no longer works in the new versions of access. Did you check you db to see if it was upgradeable without changes?

We will be checking to see if the database works on a testing machine with XP installed. However for various reasons the developer of the application is not going to be able to help us with this and most people here are unfamiliar with his code. Do you know what kind of changes would need to be made from 97 or XP so if I were to look at his VB code I can make the changes myself? Thanks.
