Hello,
Have been using MS Access 2003 and 2007 on a XP sp3 system for a long time with no big issues. This morning I had to run Access 2003 to finish up an old project (I usually use Access 2007 for most things). When I went back to launching Access 2007 I get the following error:
" Automatic configuration of the current version of Microsoft Office Access has failed. Your database might not function properly. This can occur if you do not have the necessary permissions to install Microsoft Office Access on this computer."
I have run the MS Office diagnostics but results found no problems found?
Any help is appreciated,
Thanks,
Karl

Update.
I have restored my PC from a recent backup drive image.
Not sure what caused the problem but it is working now.
Thanks
