I have an application which is using Microsoft Office 10.0. 2 of the computers in my office have been upgraded to Microsoft Office 11.0. When the application is opened, it first prompts me to enter a parameter value. I press cancel and I then get the following error:

'The expression On Open you entered as the event property setting produced the following error: A problem occured while Microsoft Office Access was communicating with the OLE screen or Active X Control.'

Any ideas? I have already gone through all the references and marked off all the ones that I have marked off on my own computer.

Thanks

Apparantly it is not a problem with 11.0 as a different user also has this and it is not a problem. However on one computer it seems to be a problem. Any ideas as to what it is or how I can fix it?

Thanks

Sounds like you may be using the included calendar or another Active-X control, which tend to be changed in every version of office, causing issues. If you are using an Active-X calendar like the MS Calendar, or another external Active-X control, try removing it and seeing if you still get the same error. We received these errors and a full lockup when using the MS Calendar and upgrading to Office XP.

Thanks. I am not using a calendar. I figured it must be an Active X control but how do I know? How can I find the code to remove? Is it something in form_load because it's not even loading or not neccessarily?
