Micros WS610 White Flash of Death issue

Ever since micros moved to FreedomPay last year we have had hundreds of Micros Oracle WS610s that will randomly die and no longer power on. The only thing you get after holding the power button is a brief white flash that lasts maybe .5 seconds. Does anyone know what the cause/fix of this issue is? You would literally be a life saver! Please let me know

Hi.Can you please explain what exactly has moved to freedompay? If Freedompay not your credit card payment provider? How would they have anything to do with the workstations? 610s are old and they do die.

The WS610's are junk. That is a problem with the motherboard. Throw it out cause its not fixable. Has nothing to do with Freedom pay

Bad news is once you see the white flash the noose has tightened around the metaphoric neck of the WS6. There is a preventative method whereby you run a BIOS update that can prevent the problem.
