Hello,
Couple of questions for everyone:
1. Has anyone been able to put a WS6 on a domain controller.
2. Has anyone been able to re-image a WS6? Either with their own image or by cloning the oracle provided one?
3. Has anyone been able to get a WS6 to boot to another device, like a USB?

Im trying to get our POS systems to be more secure by putting them on a domain with user sign-on. We mostly run WS6s with Windows 8 but have been lucky enough to get a few with win 10. On windows 10 it's so much easier to set up SarOps and CAL on. Any help would be great!

we can do the image and recover the POS, have to use 2 usb devices

I have used the Oracle images to repair units, they work. I don't know of any way to use a custom image - I tried some various imaging software without success but one customer of mine claims to be doing just that using Macrium software.

uses the acronis and puts in bios as linux to boot

use Hirens'Boot CD on USB Stick. boot WindowsXP PE with ghost32.exe on it.

Does anyone have the Micros WS5a with POS Ready 7 image they could share?
