Micros stored procedure

I am looking to create a new stored procedure in Micros.
I have always just queried tables and am looking to do something
a little different, I am looking to alter an existing stored proc
and add fields from another table, specificaly the discount report and
add the ref field from the ref table.

The log-ins I have been using do not seem to be able to create stored procedures,
I have been using support and custom logins. Is there a login that will allow me to
create a stored proc ? or is that something out of reach?

The DBA user should be able to make the changes you are looking to do.

any idea on a default dba uer/password ?
res 3700 3.2
I am using a few 4.0 systems but I know I can add a dba on those
the 3.0 ones I have never had a dba user/password

Hey Robert,

The custom user should be able to create sp's, but you can't edit the existing ones owned by the micros user. I usually duplicate them and change the data source in the crystal templates. It's just a pain so get the privileges sorts out sometimes. Shoot me an email at pegan at brguestinc dot com. If you are PCI compliant, or think you are PCI compliant, there should not be a default user/password being used. Whoever setup your system should have given you, or better yet, let you assign the user and password.
