Hi everybody,

They print reciepts without problem but when try to print an uws report, they show the label "running report" but does nothing else ocuur.

We try to follow the instruccions of this another question and we recreate the MDSHost.xml and MDSPrinters.xml but it doesn't works:

Somebody have an idea of what else can we try? Regards.

Instructions there are wrong in my experience, to rebuild those files you need to "MICROS Distributed Service Manager" then restart the "MICROS DB Update Service" then reload the database using Micros Control Panel.

You can do the rename to .old too but I've never had an issue with it overwriting the existing files. It's a good way to confirm that they've rebuilt that's for sure.

Thanks colinmcleod, but later we solved it!

We only had to choose the correct model for our Workstatons in the "Network nodes" tab in the pos configurator and recreate the MDSHost file (win32 was selected by default).

Regards!
