Micros RES 3700 (V5.1 MR2) - EOD tracking / Alerts

Hi,

We are running over 35 restaurants on Micros RES 5.1 MR2 across multiple regions. Data is being posted to our financial and BI platforms. The interfaces are linked to the EOD on auto sequences. However, if the EOD does not happen, sales is not posted.

Is there anyway to track / monitor and get alerts on whether EOD has failed or not?

If you want to pay a few $$ for Micros Alert Manager for each location you can set it up to Email / Text you (or all the people you want) if an end of day fails. You can also get alerts for sales, discounts, voids, credit cards not transferred, etc, etc.

Hi,

Unfortunately, we are in Dubai and our local vendor says that Micros Alert Manager is not released for this region and also claims that this is now a discontinued product.

Is there any other way of tracking this?

Interesting as I just noticed the Alert Manager download on the Oracle cloud site the other day.
I believe you can do a similar alert through MyMicros if you are using it.
You could also email out a daily system status report for each location but that would be tedious as you would need to review them.
Possibly someone else has a better solution.

This document says Alert Manager has been updated to the current release of RES.
