Hi,

I have an issue with Default Condiments for Menu Items.
I have linked the Condiment Sets to the Menu Item required.
But it isn't showing up when we ring the item up..

Attached is a screen shot of the config.

Could anyone advise me, what needs to be corrected so that the default condiments appear?

Thanks

Although i don't really understand the end goal but, check Sales -> Condiments and there you can create a condiment group and membership, then tie your items to the new group, then on the Menu item under the groups tab you can select your new condiment group from the drop down. Are you using a condiment set for something specific ?

I need to have condiments showing up automatically with a parent MI.

The condiments section works fine but one needs to select them manually, I need them to show up automatically with the parent item....

Okay, My above comment should work for you then.

Edit: Once you have created the new condiment group, add it to the "required condiment" drop down on the parent item and then it will be a forced selection.

Yes I know that would work as a work around but the waiters will still need to spect the condiment; isn’t there a way to have them
Display automatically as it’s only one condiment?

I used to use the default condiment option under 9700 and Simphony 2x; is this not supported under 3700?

Just so i'm understanding this correctly, (for instance) you are selling a burger, and rather than have the condiments screen pop up with Lettuce, tomato, onion, as separate buttons you want one button L+T+O to appear that is linked to each condiment ?

I may be mistaken but condiment sets are only allowed in conversational ordering mode. these are generally used in fast service establishments. Based off of your picture i assume your not a fast service business, and i don't know what changing your revenue centers to accommodate that will affect elsewhere in your system. Sorry (maybe a programmer that reads this can educate us both)

I see you were working with dinners and events, what exactly were you trying to do ? Maybe i can recommend another work around.

we need a key for a package event where the revenue is posted to 2 different major groups.
But it needs to be done in a way, that it will show as one item on the guest check

Are there options for the 2 pieces of the order or are they fixed and your just looking to direct revenue?
