micros RES 3700 5.0 , License Key Dongle

I am attempting to install my current windows 7 image of micros, which is working fine to New PC with VirtualBox, running as VM.
my current micros server has license key dongle connected to Printer port. The new system does not have a parallel port.
1. Do I still need that dongle for the new system?
2. If yes, How do i go about and do this?

Oracle/Micros made RES license free in some version. Cant remember which.
If you upgrade to the latest 5.4 then you wont need the dongle.

You can download the latest iso from edelivery.oracle.com. Search for "Oracle Hospitality RES 3700 Point-of-Sale

Thank you so much. Really appreciated the help. I have downloaded the 5.4.1. I ma currently running 5.0. Any instructions help on "How to Upgrade" the current version to this new one, please?

Thought you were installing a new copy.
Oracle only seem to be supplying the full installer at the moment.
No sign of the service packs for an upgrade. Not sure where you can get these.

You can install the 5.4 onto a vm and them copy over a database backup and restore it.
