Micros POS terminal question

We have been going through our micros pos terminal and optimizing everything to make it easier and simpler on new employees. We are able to change what the buttons end up printing, however we cannot change what the buttons themselves say and we also have numerous blank buttons that we would like to utilize.

Ram installed: 512k

Option board a: not installed
Option board b: tib vers 1.01

Just discovered that what I want to do is edit the actual condiments menu rather than what each button outputs

Any help would be amazing!

Please could anyone help? I know it's an older system but I'm sure someone here has had a least a little experience with it. Again any help would be so appreciated.

What you need to do is remove blank menu items from the slu screens.

Each menu item is assigned to an SLU screen. When you use this slu screen it automatically generates a button.

If you remove the name from one menu item for whatever reason but dont remove the slu assignment it will display a blank button.
