Hello,

I'd like a button to repeat previously entered menu items. For example, a server enters a drink with typed instructions, and then a different guest at the table wants the same thing. The functionality would allow the server to highlight the previously entered item, and then press the repeat button to order the same item with the same condiments/instructions.

I've been told micros has no native functionality for this, and that a SIM has been written for this. If this is true, does anybody have the script I need?

For now, we're using the "repeat round" button, but it's awkward for our purpose.

Thanks!

Micros has a touch reorder button that does what you are wanting to do.

Thanks! Looks like I had been misinformed. I really appreciate your help.

Make sure you pick "Touch Reorder (Automatic)" and not "(Interactive)". Automatic will copy all the condiments/instructions, Interactive will copy the menu items and prompt for required condiments.
