I have 4 micros e7 workstation and a server. The server is acting weird and keeps showing me network inactive, but the status is active. If I switch the server to inactive and try to set it back to active, it keeps saying network connections must be established. I tried pinging the 4 stations from the server and vice versa and everything seems to be fine. The stations are connected to a switch that is connected to a Comcast business modem. The only way to get them back on is to restart the server pc after turning all stations to inactive then to set the server and workstations to active. What could be the cause of the problem, how can I diagnose it?

I've seen this before in E7 sites. Checked everything and even replaced one problematic WS. Still issue occurs.
I just assumed the problem is with E7.

can you install e7 software on a ws5 as a standalone system? I am having trouble finding out how to do this.
