Micros computer on SAR Mode - GSS not connected? 1

I have a 4 station system. On two of the stations I am able to redeem and sell gift cards. On the other two I can't. When I boot the machine it comes up with something about GSS database not connected and than asks to enter SAR Mode. I say yes and everything works expect the gift cards. How do I resolve this? I have Micros 3700.

You have a network problem or the 2 offline computers are pointing to the wrong server / IP

Thank you, my control panel shows all workstations active. How do I check if it is a network issue or if the computers are pointing to the wrong server/IP?

We do not have this systsem on the internet....the only recent change was to remove an inside/out network driver for USB....could this the issue? And if so, how do I find the drivers and re-install them?

On the clients, re-run CAL and select the server. Select the workstation they are to be. Ensure you do not select "enable DHCP". Let it go through its reboots, then see if online again

Thank you. I am not sure what you mean to re-run CAL? I go to the workstation and reboot, then when windows comes up and before 3700 starts....what program do I want to run from the "Start"?

Posting this from memory but....
Go to the windows desktop on your workstation, then Start, Programs, Micros Cal and select reconfigure cal.
The program should look for your server then pop it up Choose it. Then click on the workstation it should be from the list. Do not select "enable DHCP" Then it should run the proper cal setup
