Micros 5.4 Installation Issue

Hello,

First of all I have to mention that I am a developer and I just started working with POS.

I was able to set Aloha up without any issues but now I am trying to install Micros 5.4 and I just can't seem to do it.

I installed ISS and it is working fine but when I start the installation I am getting:
"The installation requires RES Prerequisites 5.4.0000.1651 to continue."

Did anyone encounter this problem before, what should I install before being able to install Micros?

Did you look in the installation folders for that Prerequisite and run it prior to running the installation?

Micros version 5.x is very unforgiving on the install. You will need to follow the install documentation exactly.

You have to run the Res 5.4 prerequisites before the software will load. This is what installs Sybase. It's a different iso or cd that the Res installer. You should be able to get it from wherever you downloaded the Res 5.4 software.

I was able to find new installation of Aloha with all of the files needed.
