Have Micros 3700 system installed with 3 POS workstations.

On one workstation 4 terminal I want to be able to monitor input.
I have a workstation 4 terminal. I want to know if it is possible to redirect the display to a CCTV connection.

The objective is to be able to watch/record what is being input from a CCTV.

I notice from the specs that there are 2 video outputs. Has anyone heard of doing this?

Most security systems will have an interface for POS systems. It's basically a text inserter and displays on the screen everything being rung up. You have to set up a journal printer in the Micros and direct everything to "print on journal." It will also record voids, no sales, cancels, etc.

The system has a VSS (video security system) interface which will send detail via tcp or serial depending how it is configured. The message format is very simple and the can easily be manipulated. There is a published manual for the comunication protocol as well.
