Hi all,

Is there a way in Micros 3700 (we have ver 5.1) to suppress printing of CC receipts for certain dollar amount limits ?
I have spoken to our CC merchant and Amex and basically since the store is considered a quick service store and no CC tips are added, I don't need to collect signature on VISA/MC for amount below $25 and Amex for amount below $50.
I know there is away to instruct Micros to print "Alternate Voucher" (Tender / Media => Credit Auth ==> Base Floor Limit and Revenue Center => RVC Credit Cards => Trailers => Customer Alternate Trailer) but I want to suppress the printing altogether for any amount below the limits mentioned.

Finally if there away to suppress printing, can it be applied on specific revenue center (or is the suppression done on the all revenue centers)?

Thanks in advance for you help.
Alex

Anyone familiar with how to suppress CC voucher printing on Micros 3700 ?

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

im having trouble with this issue as well if someone can help!

Thanks!

I think that's the "base floor limit 1" under Sales | Tender/Media | Credit Auth. The way I understand it, transaction for less that the amount entered in that box will not print a CC voucher. You also have to check the "enable base floor limit 1" option in Revenue Centers | RVC Credit Cards | Floor Limits.

If that does what you want, you'll also need to create a CC Voucher button, Function:transaction - On Demand CC Voucher, for guests who want one even though it isn't strictly necessary.

Thanks pgeman.
I have tried your suggestions and unfortunately it is still printing the cc voucher.
I know there is away of suppressing the printing as I have been at multiple stores locations with micros installation that don't print CC voucher.
One of those mystery I hope to solve. Even Micros support desk does not know what the solution is :(

Best

Working on an issue related to this - you may be able to use "Suppress CA Voucher" under Order Types to prevent all CA Vouchers from printing.

I know Micros can be picky sometimes, have you reloaded Micros after the changes?

Ok, I did some testing on this one yesterday:

If you don't want a CA Voucher to print with Base Floor limit 1 set to $25 per standard, you have to tick "do not go online for authorization" and leave "use alternate print trailer" unchecked. Note that this may cause higher credit card processing fees due to the lack of an initial auth.
