Who do you all use for Micros 3700 support? Someone by the hour.

My local support is horrible. They refuse to turn over admin access to my system. They are trying to force me to sign another two-year contract just to reset my manager account which is locked.

I am currently locked out and saw an old post where you can run a batch file to pull or reset the login for autosequences and reports.

I am about to call the microsman to see what there rate is.

Your system...you should be the admin. If your comfortable self supporting its the best way to go. There are some great support people on here and outside of here. Yours sound a bit shady. If you get really stuck Oracle also offer support by yearly contract or hourly rate. TBH the hourly rate is reasonable if its an easy fix and you get a knowledgeable tech. Or at least I think they still offer these services. There are several posts on here on how to unlock an account if you search. If you need posted again can do.

Hey buddy,

We can help you out with easy issues like that one.

Use the Sybase Central, under Connection you will find how to connect to the database tables.

Find the emp_def table, over there you will get all the info of every user and password.

If you need any further assistance with something more complicated I can help you out =).

Regards

You don't know your POS Configuration login or you don't know your database (DBA) login?

If you don't know your POS Configurator login, it's fairly easy to regain login.

If DBA login, then depending on your version, you might get it through an application (getdba)

Thank you all.

I was able to hire someone through his website and he was able to get in within a couple of minutes. I think one of the default database passwords worked for him. I wasn't at the restaurant when he started so I didn't catch what he did at the beginning.

I am pretty handy and was able to follow someone's instructions a while ago on how to fix the calendar issue. This was just over my head.

hi if you need a hand let me know i can help you or support you it depend on what you are asking , here is my email cherifbj@gmail.com

Hey F1ydave, who did you hire "through his website?" I am looking at a couple things I would like to be able to do with my Micros system and need some tech help. I have found Oracle to be ridiculously expensive and don't offer an hourly rate. I also still need to fix that calendar issue.

Thanks for you help.

You can email me at Jeffw299@hotmail.com and can help with most things Cheers
