MICROS 3700 Special Prep Message

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if there's a way to send a special prep message to the kitchen printer ( TM-220B) or will I require a sim ?
I tried creating a menu item called message that requires a reference, but the message comes out very small.

Like a typed in modifier? Yes it can be done easily. And should print same size as your modifiers.

If by chance the new item you created is programmed to print the item price at the remote ptr; try turning that option off and see if that enlarges the print size on the typed instructions
