So this time around my employers want a repeat key, that will repeat everything included in the last menu item entry. Is this possible?

Sorry to be obnoxious.

The "repeat" button is a fixed button (like no sale, clear etc.) you program to a touchscreen or touchscreen template. You may have to assign "include in repeat round" in each menu item in the database so consider food vs drink. Typically repeat buttons are used just for alcoholic drinks.

What system are you using? Micros has a re-order and a touch re-order key....highlight the items you want to re-order and hit the key. Find it works best and is the most flexible.

Hi,
For 3700 you are all on the right path.

ITEMS
To enable items to be included in a repeat round option goto:
Menu Item Class>General>Include in Repeat Round
I usually tick this for all beverage classes, not for foods or other class types.

Because when people drink there are subtle differences between rounds, I use the Touch Re0rder(Automatic) function.

SCREEN
Place a button on the screen
Select Category: Function: Transaction
Function: Transaction = Touch Re0rder(Automatic)

Give it a crack and see how it works for you
