Hello, I have an existing system that originally had 3 workstations and a backoffice computer. Over the years 2 terminals have gone away. The third is on its last leg. I purchased 5 terminals off ebay and would like to make them work. When I boot the terminal up it is in stand alone mode. what are the steps to follow to make this work.

I have read some of the post here and seems that the ip address needs to be changed as well as the server name for the terminal.

As you can tell I am not an expert on this but your help is much appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your help and time,
Bill

Micros 3700 running nt and the terminals are 64 AD's

The easiest way is to uninstall the micros software on the new workstations, then go into the the server and either modify or better yet add the pc name and IP address (and term type i believe you are asked) in Micros and then run the micros install on the workstations. The micros install is basically you finding the server from the workstation and finding the WS install folder and running the set up. That will tell the server what the new info is.
If you need more help post a reply and i will try and write up a step by step.

Thanks for the help. If you have time a step by step guide would be great.

Thanks again for you time,
Bill

Still do not have the unit up and running. If you have time please post a step by step guide.

T^hank you for your time,
Bill

Hello, I am wondering what version of MICROS you are running and what types of workstations you purchased.
