Hi Everyone, our micros 3700 is not syncing so I can't pull any data on the backend. When selecting business dates it won't allow to select anything past 5-25. If you try anyway it says data not available.
We are a high volume restaurant and in desperate need of this information. Micros or now Oracle sucks. They want you to open a ticket and then you don't hear from them anymore for a few month or better. I need a solution now!! Please help!

Thanks
Susan

How are you trying to pull the sales information? Through Autosequences & Reports, myMICROS or a different interface?

What was the last date that you had sales information in myMICROS?

There are two windows services which are responsible for posting data to MyMicros.
MICROS Agent
MICROS WatchDog

Open Services.msc and check that these are running.

Secondly browse to D:\Micros\RTA\Logs. You should have a dated log file and a wrapper.log. Open these up and see if there is anything obviously wrong or post them here.

Since the RES database still has check detail (it is stored for 2 weeks) you can just create a case with Oracle MICROS. If the services are running (as CathalMF mentioned) and there are not any errors in the logs they can redeploy jobs for those specific dates which will force the sales data to sync to myMICROS.

Also, I'm not a computer geek I'm just a user but we can log on to the backend of mymicros with POS connect.

I know but the problem with Oracle is that they open the ticket and then they leave you hanging. Their tech support sucks so bad. You cannot even get a live person on the phone and I'm pretty sure the issue we have is fixable in house by someone walking us through. I'm just annoyed...sorry didn't want to bother anyone

Since this issue is handled by the Oracle MICROS eBusiness group (not the normal help desk) they typically get back to you quickly, at least for me they do. Good luck.

@Susan, These things i asked you to check are not on the MyMicros server they are on the Micros POS Server which should be located in your restaurant.

Java is also a huge issue with mymicros. Generally, if the MICROS 3700 server is running higher then 7u75 Java, mymicros will stop reporting. Just uninstall the newer Java and reinstall the older one. This has been the issue about 95% of the time that I've seen 3700 stop reporting.

Mrrunowho is probably right. I would check your java version. It probably got updated. If need be you will need to uninstall the current version and install one that worked. Also a good old server reboot should be done if it hasn't...it might start the services CathalMF was referring to.
