When my cashiers go to run the server report at any POS station it freezes up the computer and you have to just shut it off and turn it back on to reboot the system. We have tried waiting it out but 30 minutes later still nothing. So when there is no one in the office the cashiers, to do their closing paperwork, have to go every night and add all credit card slips by hand to see what their totals are. Can anyone help me figure this out, help desk is getting me no where and now talk of $200 a hour to come check it out is being mentioned. This system has never worked and we have only had it in place for six months. Personally the reporting as easier on rectrac.

micros 3700 locks up computer everytime you push server report

This happened to us twice with Micros 3700. Both times it was because the paper in the (office) printer (end of day reports) was out and the reports didn't ran. This also caused a backlog because credit cards didn't process and two days of business showed up on the same day report.
I am by no means an expert on Micros, but the first thing I would do is check your reports to see if they printed and maybe force End of Day reporting? That said, I'm sure someone else in these forums has much more experience. Good luck!
