micros 3700 -KDS

All,
I configured new KDS on windows 7 pro machine. When I start it hangs at "Wait for MDSHost File".
I checked the network connectivity and all that. It finds the server during the CAL configuration at startup.
Any ideas, please?

Used to have to install the netframework on the machine. Make sure its on there. Turn off your firewall on kds to test. Check the hosts files. Check the KDS service is running on the server.

OK; no one is touching, my RDC w/IoT thread...so I'll piggy-back here, lol

Need to "re-image"...KDS. In one case...just now; I have a customer, who got zapped and can't get to CE...so we can wipe and re-load CAL, etc.

In the other case...we need to "copy" image, from other RDCs; onto new ones.

HELP!?

did you manually copy mdshst to KDS? if it verdae and did not work, has a HOTFIX that corrected this, what is your complete version of the micros?

What version? if WINCE you need the file NK.BIN
