Micros 3700: Check can only be opened on terminal where it was created

Any ideas? Recently added a new network node/workstation. Nothing else has changed. Will try a reboot of the Micros server and all terminals as well after service ends today.
No devices are in standalone or offline mode.

OK so from the testing, you can open a new check on a workstation. If you open that check from another workstation, it then gets locked to that station.

Can you explain further what you mean by locked.

Do you get a specific error when you try and pick it up?
