We accidentally unplugged one of our 3700 workstations and there are now two checks from that section that appear in open checks. When we try to open the checks to close them out it give us an error saying that it can't access the check currently. I've taken care of all the financial implications of these two checks and would like to now just delete them. Does anyone know how to delete or void a check if you can't open it? We've rebooted the entire system and cycled the business date and they still persist.

The exact message micros gives when we try to open the check is "Check detail read failed.

Try forcing them close in SQL Quoting the below from another post;

"Run these queries in dbisql:

select chk_seq from micros.chk_dtl where chk_num = (CHECK NUMBER HERE)and chk_open = 't'

Once you have the the check sequence number for the open one run this command:

call micros.sp_forcechkclose ( check sequence here);
commit;

Warning! You can screw up your totals with this. If you're not sure what you're doing, ask your Micros dealer for assistance.
