Hello!

I am attempting to add to an existing SIM file for a Micros 3700 system on 4.8. The current SIM handles our coupons, in which coupon codes are held in a custom table. That part of the SIM works just fine, and I do not wish to make any changes to the current functionality. What I would like to do is simply add a "print check" at the end of the event. I have a Tender setup already that I would like to use, this tender is configured as a "Send & Stay" tender which sends any un-sent items, prints a guest check, and then leaves the user signed into the check.

I am by no means a SIM Guru, I am very familiar with the 3700 System and POS Config etc, just not SIM. I have already attempted to accomplish this with a macro calling the SIM, and then the tender, with no luck. The tender dosent seem to be getting called, even with the bit for "Prompt For Operator Entry" selected.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Add a variable similar to this

var tender_key : key = key(9,xxx) // change xxx to tender number

Add this as your last line of your event

loadkybdmacro tender_key

Worked Like a Charm! Thanks for the quick and accurate response Mike! Appreciate it! (So will all of the waitstaff in the restaurants!)
