Hi,
Has anyone ever come across issue where adjusting an employee's punch out looks like it works but the change does not 'stick'? We are able to edit other employee's time cards however any changes we make to this particular employee's clock in/out's revert back to the un-adjusted times. We have tried it for different dates/times, always with the same result. Any advice/input is appreciated.
Thanks

Usually its because you are looking in the wrong time period (look at the top and make sure you working in the right time period) Another issue I have seen is they are clocked out on a break. Lastly double check its not overlapping another time period. Sometimes when people enter them manually they make mistakes

Pretty sure we are doing everything correct. I'll post a pic with screenshots showing how we edit it to 10:30pm on 6/14, click ok (then choose the reason 'forgot clock out') and everything looks correct. However when we go back into that timecard it has reverted back (to 'out' at 4:04 am, which is the auto clock out time, on the 15th). It is only entries for this employee (it happens no matter which date/time we try to edit for him) revert back after any edits, all other employees timecards can still be edited with no problems. Got us scratching our heads.

Can you do the change on the back of house? The managers procedure edit time card is so clunky.
Or pull it up in sql

Have also seen this happen and the only solution is create a new employee. But that is pretty rare.

This happens to us from time to time. Sometimes the database thinks a time card is open on a terminal.

Run the following in dbisql:
update micros.emp_status
set uws_seq = NULL
where uws_seq is not null

Thanks cdigitaldetroit! That did the trick. Appreciate all the suggestions/help. Stay well all!
