Micros 3700 5.2 The database has not been started

Hi,

I am just trying to setup a new Micros 3700 install on Server 2008 R2, I have installed 5.2 but when I try to open POS configurator I get the error

The database has not been started. Please verify that the database is running, then launch the application again

Have you had this error before, what do I need to do?

Have you started the database in the Micros Control Panel?

Hi,

In control panel it lists Restaurant and the server name (both with a green tick) but SQL Database Server is not listed, the service MICROS Database Service is running and micros.db is in \MICROS\Database\Data
