It is possible on the 2700. It needs to be allocated in memory allocation. Then you use Mgr procedures to key in the schedule line by line. Not many users use this procedure as it takes a lot of time to input the schedule each week.
Something to consider; Allocate ten lines per employee. IE: 18 employees = 180 lines. Input the schedule that way also. 1st employee has four shifts (use lines 1-4), 2nd employee has six shifts (use lines 10-16) etc.
This keeps the schedule organized and easy to read/print. It also makes scheduling changes easier to incorporate.
It will also make it much easier if you plug a keyboard into the 2700 and use that vs the touchscreen. All AT style keyboards will work while most Win keyboards will work with a PS2 to AT adapter.
Thats kinda how i was thinking about setting it up. Once i input there sch these are the only time they should be able to clock in with out manager auth. correct.
Thanks
I can't recall off hand where the settings are but either in the employee "Trans Privledges" or "Revenue Center Overhead Parameters" there are several items you program to allow/force employees to clock in within a certain time frame.
IE: shift begins at 4PM but you allow a 5 min grace period for clocking in and a 15 min for clocking out.
