actually the ws4 construction based on a Disk On Chip & a Compact flash no hard disks or external disk and when the Workstation starts it checks first for the compact flash & if no data found on the Compact flash it checks the DOC ( disk on chip ) & so you only can replace the DOC with another DOC even the windows CE you can't install this easy.
