Micro Simphony 18.2 Installation Issue

Hey, funny place to stumble across and quite enlightening as I'm quite new to the POS world.

I'm trying to install Micro Simphony 18.2 on a local machine for development purposes, I don't work directly with POS systems but I require one to verify my implementations work.

I've got through all the steps and have it installing but it throws an error about not being able to install the "eGateway Service" as it cannot connect to a database. I'm somewhat out of my depth here, but is someone able to shed some light as to which database this may be and how I can progress with my installation?

The databases from what I can tell are all running, but I don't know what database this refers to.

There's two databases created by the installer when it's being setup, so I believe it has access.

Installing Simphony is really not a easy simple doubleclick command. And still many bugs in the Installation Process not be fixed since 2.7+
The Documentation at docs.oracle.com are useless to install Simphony 18.2 / 19.2 with Reporting and Analytics 9.1.
Because it is not in a structured form that you can follow step by step and at the end it is up and runnin.

Did you have a Certificate for your ServerName ? because this is also needed by the installer for the IIS and then to Install Clients over CAL.

Install Procedure
Use Windows in English and every Format in US / Date Time Location etc. (Reporting and Analytics does not work with other settings)
Oracle Database Server 12.1 not higher (bytheway Simphony 19.2 can support Oracle DB 18 but Reporting and Analytics does not)
Create Database
Create TableSpace
Install Reporting and Analytics, Try and Error with Java JDK Versions 1.6+ to become the Reporting and Analytics Installer up and running. No Spaces in any Folder Settings.
Create for every Service and Oracle DB User a different Password. around 20 different Passwords are needed. For Lab not necessary but Security on Site.
Certificate is needed for Server and Client Communication in ISS. can be created with openssl (New Root Certificate and Client Cert for Server and Workstations)
Install Simphony
Pray
