Afternoon All,

I am aware of how Mitel documentation usually goes but can someone please point me in the right direction for a user guide on major features of Ignite (function of MiContact Center)?

I have looked through the edocs technical docs and can find the MiContact Center guides for 8.1 and 9.1 (and 5.10 for use with skype - not needed) but nothing earlier. The CCMweb and YSE we use is all running 7.1.

Just wondering if any of these user guides are relevant and if not, is there anymore I can use?

***************************

Actual error details:

1. One user is experiencing that the options menu under the timer has disappeared. No longer able to see any busy options.
2. One user is experiencing that to take a call in Ignite she has to remove make the make busy code and go back into the Ignite window twice, the remove work timer button does not work

Any information or help on finding the relevant info is much appreciated.

Thanks, Justin

If only they would write some decent documentation or make it work..............

The user guides for ignite is actually in the multimedia installation manual

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Thanks for that Billz66.

and you are right unfortunately, I have the doco... now to sift through 400+ pages to find what I want haha

Thanks again, Justin

Hi Guys,

quick update on my situation... I have deleted both users from MiCollab and YSE and re-created from scratch.
Since then one of the users has been fixed. The user that is unable to remove the work timer is still having the same issue as before the re-creation.

Any guidance on this subject would be much appreciated.

Thanks, Justin

So just to be clear are you using the micollab softphones alongside ignite?

They have handsets on their desk they use but they can also dial out with their micollab client.

Can they cancel the work timer from the handset ok?

Maybe start to get some logging from the Ignite Client.

more information required

are both users set with the same cos for their extensions?
are both users running the client on similar spec hardware?

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

How would they cancel the work timer from the handset? They have a make busy key that they can use but nothing relating to a work timer key... I tried to find something in the FACs too for a user speedcall key but found nothing. How do you mean?

and both these users have the same COS and COR, they are the same as the rest of the call center who are working fine. I deleted the user and re-created her to assure that all settings are standard. Only 1 user still having issues.

pressing the X button cancels the worktimer from the handset

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Make sure to disable all firewalls and antivirus on the client PC while you test.
