Hi - We are having issues dialling a 10 digit number either via Micollab or Ignite. (11 digits is the standard UK tel number). I can dial the 10 digit number without issue via a desk phone (5320) but not via Micollab. I just get a number not recognised error. Is ther a setting anywhere on the Micollab/Ignite that anyone knows of?

We are running MiVB v 9.2 and Micolab v9.2 alongside MICC 9.2

Cheers

Rich

Many thanks Richard

is the micollab access code the same as the one for MIVB
- eg if when dialling from phone you dial 9 1234567890 is the access code set in micollab also 9

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Hi - it is set the same as MiVB. We also have this number set up as a speed dial and it wont work that way either where as its fine via a desk phone.

Many thanks Richard

and is micollab/ ignite controlling a physical phone or softphone ?

if controlling physical
whats shown on display?
if softphone whats shown on smdr
or sip trace if trunks are sip .

and whats set for the digits dialled in ars
is ut a fixed length or unknown.

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

It is via the Micollab Softphone for PC Client

Nothing shows on the SMDR when I have looked

CCS Trace shows the below (80960) being the speed dial to the 10 digit number

On the ARS it is set as below so 90172671271 would expect 9 digits based on the 901 below going to List 3, however it works fine on a desk phone

ARS Digits Dialed
Digits Dialed Number of Digits to Follow Termination Type Termination Number
05 9 List 2
56XX 0 Route 49
8982 Unknown Route 102
900 Unknown List 5
901 9 List 3

Could I create a new ARS entry where i use the dialing area code 01726 and then follow it with 5 digits to follow? Or change anything 901 to unknown?

Many thanks Richard

id try the 901 unknown as a start
i remember seeing something (kms) regarding something like this . ill check 2morrow

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

I did a new ARS Digits Dialled as 901726 followed by 5 and this has sorted it. I will try the 901 unknown later outside of our core business hours though as well

Cheers for the help

Many thanks Richard
