I have set up the sync for AD, but for some reason it is not accepting the AD password. It pull across all AD info, but for some reason not the password. If i add my own password in MiCollab and then re-sync, the password i added no longer works. Any ideas?

Also i have set up the Calendar integration in the Server Manager portal on the MiCollab server, do i then have tell users to manually enable calendar integration? OR can it be done at server level and push across to all users?

in the IDS connector , do you have aauthentication ticked?
if not then you cant use the connector for ad authentication
- most common reason for not being able to get it connected with that ticked is a lack of a certificate on the AD server

it MUST have a certificate listing its own name or it wont be able to make an encrypted connection to the micollab

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

I am not using the IDS connector due to licencing.

What i am using is MiCollab Client Service Configuration > Synchronisation Tab > Active Directory/LDAP Synchronizer

Do i still need to put the certs on the AD server?

AD integration is done on various applications.
What is your setup...? applications etc

Got it working in the end, it was down to CN error.

I am having with the calendar integration, it sees i'm in a meeting but it is not changing my dynamic status. Also, does the calendar integration pick up the subject title of the calendar appointment?

Hi Betterservices,

Could you elaborate on your fix for this please? I am setting up the same scenario and have the same issue. The LDAP sync is successful, the user account gets created but the welcome email they receive has an auto genrated login id and password. The login id and password fields on the users are not greyed out which is what I would expect if they are using LDAP.

Thanks in advance.
