HI there,

I'm setting up an IVR in MiCC Version 7.1 and I'm running into a minor issue with my call flow. I have a main menu with several press options. These options Transfer calls to ACD Paths. Before the Transfer Activity I've added in a Play Activity and configured it to speak the estimated wait time to the caller. This is all working perfectly. What I would like to do now is incorporate a rule that only speaks the estimated wait time to the caller if it is greater than 1 minute. (Expected Wait Time > 00:01:00). I have created a rule to accomplish this with the expression Queue(Expected Wait Time > 00:01:00) where the success path is the Play Activity followed by the Transfer Activity and a failure path which is just the Transfer Activity.
NOTE: I do not understand the Variables piece of the rule I've setup. I don't need a variable, I just need it to check the Queue Wait Time and Pass or Fail. So for a variable on this rule I've just set <<CallID>> = 5551234.

Here is the issue - regardless of actual estimated wait time in the queue the rule is always a success. When the conditions exist for the Rule to fail (ie. the estimated wait time IS less than 00:01:00) the call still takes the success path.

What am I missing here?

Thanks,
Dan

Just following up on this old thread. This issue was completely a newb user moment. A bit more reading and some guidance from Mitel/PrairieFyre revealed I was configuring the rule wrong. PM me if you are ever looking for more detailed info on this one.
