We cannot setup any conferences through our web browser upon entering our username and password - we are getting the following error;

The page cannot be refreshed without resending the information. Click retry to send the informaion again, or click cancel to return to the page that you were trying to view.

Please advise what action to take to resolve this problem.

Thank you

looks like the page timed out.. what does f5 give you? if the web interface is down you will need to connect via a serial port

We can connect via the serial port but our conference administrator only uses the web interface - our network administrator has check and confirmt that there are no problems with our local intranet. We disable and reanble the MICB cards several times to no avail. Please advise- Thanks.

mt6322 did you ever resolve your issue? I am having the same issue. If you remove the TN programming from the card the BUI will work but as soon as you put a single TN back in place the BUI shuts down (at least as it is in my case). If you were able to resolve the issue I would be gratefull to know how.

Thanks,
Bry

I had a similar issue.
Take a database backup of the MICB and restore it again on the same card.

Let me know the results.
Cheers!

We are still down and we were advised to reload the software. We do not have the MICB software on-site but we were also advised to download it from the Nortel website. Could you please let me know what is the procedure once the software has been downloaded. Thanks.

Option -1 : Take backup of the MICB on a Flash card through the archive utility in the SM. Then restore the backup which again is done through the Archive utility . This procedure doesn't require to download the software.

If this doesn't solve the issue, try Option-2.
Option-2: Reload the Firmware. For this first download the Software from the Nortel Site and extract it in the PCMCIA Flash card. Insert the flash card in the topmost slot of the MICB,which is empty. Then in the SM (System Manager), go to the Software upgrade option and upgrade the software.

Hope this helps.

If u still need more help, post ur email ID, and i will send u the trace of the upgrade, i had done.

Cheers!

Thanks for your help. We have 2 MICB cards for a total of 64 ports. We fixed the problem on one of the MICB cards after reloading the software as described in option 2 above. However, on the other MICB, we also reloaded the software but can only connect thru the BUI but not through the CLI, either direct connect (DB9) or via the BUI dashboard. Please send me your MICB docs to mte@bna.com

Also, how do I make a copy/mirror of all files that are in the PCMCIA hard drive lower socket. I would like a have a backup of my hard drive in case the flash drive in A fails.
Thanks.

Dear, We faced the same problem in our 3 MICB Cards at the same time in different locations, we upgraded the firmware to solve the issue. You can try this option.
