Mi collab Audio and Web conferencing

Hi,

Could someone please describe to me the licencing options for alacarte for Mi collab audio and video.

I have a site where they want to implement micollab suite to have Nupoint, Micollab client with softphone but also want to do some audio and video conferencing.

Is the A & v element licenced per port or per user, and if the latter is it per concurrent user. Im getting very confused with the documentation on this.

They will not be using ucc licensing model.

You are licensed by port

Users are simply those people with access to the system and allowed to use it.

Audio and Video ports are licensed separately

When you mention Client and Softphone, I believe you are talking about UCA unless something has changed recently

SO am I right in saying that 5 audio licences means 5 ports and therefore 5 people can be in a conference at any one time?

Thats correct

If on MAS it normally comes with 40000 licenses to enable 4000 accounts to be created.
You are then limited by the number of ports

with 5 ports you can have 1 x 2 party and 1 x 3 party or
1 x 4 party or
1 x 5 party conference

if you want to use HD codecs then you MUST make the number of HD codecs = the Number of ports

You can buy audio only web only or audio/web licenses. 5 audio means 5 participants at once.
