Hi All,
Any one has any info about the above issue.
Thanks,
Emam20

Loadware CAM06 is the version we want! We are still on CAM03 and we are working with our vendor to get CAM06.
Sorry I can't help you out on installing it.

Can you contact any one to send me how can i install it through the element manager??
as i have many remote sites and want to update those firmware to those sites.

Thanks In Advance,
Emam20

Our vendors usually use command line ... I am more GUI friendly, but I am slowly learning Element Manager. It would appear that you can just click on Software under system (file tree) - your expanded options will be:
Call Server PEPs
Media Gateway PEPs
Loadware PEPs
File Upload
etc... so click on File Upload and the screen should show you what is currently on your devices. Under that section you have a LW/FW file name browse field. So, I would imagine you just locate that on your drive and then press the file upload button. You would have to be careful of any 'special instructions' included with the loadware. So that would get it uploaded to your system. From there I am not quite sure how to 'install' it. Maybe just a reboot would suffice ... you can also check out Servers/Media Cards PEPs ... that is about as much 'help' as I can offer. Someone else on this forum will have to assist further.

you will need access to PDT

Copy or receive file to /u/loadware
once file in loadware folder:

lwload "filename" <- this will load and give you a handle number

lwisnt "lwhandle"

will probably ask how you want firmware distributed to MGCs and if you want to upgrade now. When MGC finishes upgrade, it will reboot.

do a lwstat to show status of loadware

Nice Reusser! Yea my vendor was telling me to use lwload/lwinst thanks for spelling it out with proper syntax.
