MGC card factory reset

i am unable to turn MGC setting to factory default, when i connect to com port i see nothing , just unable register to primary callserve messages.

Can you advise me on this ?

Ctrl+O Ctrl+A Ctrl+M then login using your admin1 or admin2 password. Once logged in you can do an mgcInfoShow to check the configuration. mgcsetup will let you change the configutration & mgcIPClear will clear the configuration.

it is not working... which port should i use to connect MGC ?

Plug in the 3 port tty cable into the 9 way on the back of the gateway. Plug into port 0 do a Control LDB (Local de-bug) log in with admin1-2 or PDT 1-2. To default an MGC:

>mgcIPClear
>diskFormat

reboot and it will ask for IP details again. Make sure you have completed the MGC setup in elephant manager before registering the MGC.
