Metaframe XP - can't run 16-bit apps

Just installed Win2000 SP3 in order to fix a couple of issues, and now get runtime errors when trying to execute 16-bit applications. I know I've seen this before, I think there was a registry hack to solve this, but can't for the life of me remember where I saw it. Anybody have a suggestion?

yes, there are some known problems with 16 bit applications after applying SP3. this seems to be the reason why the installation of FR2 for MF XP fails afterwords. there is a KB article at Citrix (CTX015294) and MS (

but i didn't find that hotfix available.
