Metaframe 1.8 and Zones

Hello,
I don't have a great deal of experience with Metaframe 1.8 and have what I hope is an easy question.
In Metaframe XP I am familiar with the concept of zones within the farm. Is there an equivalant method of achieving this in 1.8.
For example if I have one farm but the servers are in two different locations (over a WAN) how can I ensure that users at each location connect to the local servers on the farm. I want to prevent the servers at the second location from being accessed by users at the first location and visa versa.

Any help is much appreciated.

There is no concept of a Zone in versions of Metaframe and winframe previous to XP.
There is however our old favourite the ICA Browser service.
It may be that the best way to do this for you is to have two sets of published apps and group the users to point to their nearest server.
Too long ago to remember all the ins and outs I am afraid.

You will need to learn the ica gateway. It is free. But needs to be located in each subnet.
