Assuming that you are entering the meta text into the head of your document, you should have no problem viewing your code.
Remember to add this code to your index page and every other page you wish to submit to search engines.
You did not state if you are using frames or not? with frames you have at least two or three pages making up the frameset. These all need to carry the text.
