Hi there,

I have read several documents and forums on getting instant messenger working via ISA (check out thread181-27567)
They all talk about selecting the Messenger protocol within the Protocol Rules section but the only protocols I have listed are Gopher, FTP, HTTP and HTTPS.

I am running ISA 2000 in proxy mode only on a win2k server. All latest service packs etc applied.

Why is this protocol not listed??

Thanks in advance,

Glenn

You need to have ISA in integraded mode (FW+proxy) for that. FW mode is minimum requirement. FW mode requires 2 NICs.
