Messaging R7 dial by name

I have completed the directory list and submenu for the phone directory. However, I've searched all over and I am not sure how to go from having directory list [press 5 in initial AA menu] to the 'dial by name' feature in the initial AA greeting. The extensions all have the last names' letters keyed. It's probably something obvious but I have been through all the documentation and forums several times ...but no luck. Any comments would be appreciated.

*2 takes you to the dial by name directory. Be sure and tell your callers if it is by first or last name. "To search for your party, by LAST name, press star two......
