Can I use the Port Card from an old Partner Messaging R1 in a refurbished Partner Messaging R6? Customer currently has a R1 that is dying and we'd like to try to save them a $ by reusing the Port Card. I searched but didn't find anything this specific. Thanks in advance!

That's what I thought but was second guessing myself:) Thank you for the confirmation.

I Have a Partner ACS R7 with a PCMIA Large R3 mail.
At times the message light stays on after the messages have been listened to.
I have changed the mail card The system worked fine for about a week then the problem manifested itself again.
Is there an issue with the R7 and the PCMIA R3 mail?

Nothing I've heard of. I would make sure that only 78/79 are assigned to #505, hunt group 7.

The only other thing I can think of is that the msg waiting indicator is controlled by the last port (79). If they are receiving multiple calls and both ports are busy, then the system has to wait until port 79 frees up.
