Hello,

I'm trying to send a message to several persons in our terminal server session.

I already found the msg command and this is exactly what I need, but i was wondering if anyone knew a program that does this in a GUI?

Possibility to choose the users to write to, set the amount of time and the message of course.

Thanks in advance,

YO

Under "Administrative tools" you should have a program called "Terminal Server Administration". If you open this and click on the relevant server name you will receive a list of all users currently connected. You can click (or ctrl-click for mutiple users) and send a message from there (using right-click on user names or through the main menu).

Russell.

Carlsberg don't run I.T departments, but if they did they'd probably be more fun.

thanks for the reply.

I have this, but in this you can not set any time period (duration the message is displayed) and the text size is limited.

thanks,

YO

As far as I am aware this is not possible using the very basic features of the messenger service. You you need to use a third-party product.

Unfortunately not, sorry. There are many basic programs for sending messages to network users but I have never seen any designed for terminal server sessions.
